How to Pay Tribute to My Wife

    • 1). Plan a day where you clear your schedule to spend the whole day pleasing your wife. Fill the day with activities she will enjoy. Choose a day that is convenient for her as well, though, or your planning may be for naught.

    • 2). Ship the kids off to Grandma's house so you can sneak in some alone time with your wife. Spend your time watching movies and just reacquainting yourself with the woman you first fell in love with.

    • 3). Offer her gifts for no reason other than to show her you appreciate her. You can provide her with something simple like flowers or you can step it up and bring home jewelry. Don't ask for anything in return; just let her know you want to see her happy.

    • 4). Turn off the television occasionally and talk with your wife. Pay attention to her and listen to her stories. She will appreciate the one-on-one time you spend together without the noisy distractions of the modern world.

    • 5). Take a break in the middle of a busy day to tell her how much you appreciate her. Give her examples of the things you notice and admire about her. Show her that despite your busy schedule, you recognize her hard work and you want her to know it.

    • 6). Renew your vows so you can show your wife -- in front of your friends and family -- that you still love and cherish her after all your years together. It says to your wife that you made the right choice all those years ago and if you had to do it all over again, you would do the exact same thing.
