Wildwood, New Jersey, a shore town on Cape May, is a popular summer vacation spot for residents of the tri-states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. Despite seeing its heyday of popularity in the 1950 and 60s, the town still bustles in summer. Centered around a 2-mile boardwalk, the area is famous for its multitude of mid-century populuxe-style hotels. East Cedar Avenue is home to several amusements, including the Splash Dome Waterpark and Morey's Piers Amusement Park. - The Blue Palm motel is a glowing example of a populuxe-style hotel. The mid-50s hotel is located right next to Moreys Piers and has refrigerators and kitchenettes for cooking in most rooms. The hotel offers two sundecks, barbeque grills, and on-site laundry facilities, as well as a large swimming pool with a separate kiddy area. One parking spot is provided per room. Rooms can accommodate four to five people and are all non-smoking. Pets are not allowed. Rates are seasonal, with summer months being the most expensive.
