Definition:

Cells are the building blocks of all organs and tissues, including the heart, lungs, blood and skin. Many cells group together to form an organ or tissue. Cells contain the genetic code (DNA), which codes for all different functions of the tissue.

Lymphomas affect the lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell which fights infections in the body. There are two kinds of lymphocytes - B-cells and T-cells.

Either type can form a cancer.
