Saxon Building
Throughout the 900s, England resisted Danish attacks but in 1016 The Dane Cnut became king. When he died and his sons passed away too, the English prince Edward 'The Confessor' regained the throne in 1042. Edward built a royal palace known as 'West Minster'.
