How A Top Tier MLM Compares To A Traditional MLM: Which One Is Better?
Many people are confused when trying to distinguish the difference between a Top Tier MLM and a Traditional MLM.
When I started out in this industry I didn't know the difference, and unknowingly joined two top tier companies because I loved the high commissions.
Network Marketing embraces both models and they can both be used to build huge organizations.
Think of these two models as a Now -N- Later candy.
One offers you the ability to make your money now, while the other gives you big rewards later on.
Let's take a brief look at the two.
A Top Tier Opportunity can cost you anywhere from the price range of $1,000-$5,000.
Even though the cost is higher on the front end, you make your money immediately if you enroll a new distributor.
The commissions are paid by the company which usually offers payouts of 50%.
There are companies that can pay your anywhere from $1,000-$9,000 by just signing up new people.
Many entrepreneurs use the top tier model in addition to building their primary MLM's.
This is powerful because one is able to make money upfront to fund their long term strategy which is their primary company.
This model is more of a direct sales approach and is dependent on your own personal efforts.
However, it does attract a higher qualified prospect who is usually more dedicated and doesn't let money be an issue in their marketing.
A Traditional MLM is structured for your long term success.
There are a multitude of excellent MLM's that offer great products and services, but the time to build them usually takes anywhere from 2-5 years.
This doesn't apply to everyone, but the reason why so many people drop out is because the results are not immediate.
Most companies are either based on the binary, unilateral, or matrix system and usually pay out $100 for each person sponsored.
To achieve the amount of money that a top tier company pays initially, one would have to sponsor 10x more people just to get the same result.
As a consequence, attrition is one of the biggest problems in a traditional mlm.
In my opinion, I think that you need both models.
If you are only building a Network Marketing company then I would suggest that you look into joining a Top Tier MLM.
Even though you might have to "pass up" your first sale, it's still a great way to make money while you are building your primary.
In this game you need to keep making money in order to stay on the game board.
Make the choice to have the best of both worlds and get paid NOW and LATER!
