    • Failte Ireland (failteireland.ie) is a body that supports tourism professionals across Ireland, and is responsible for product and enterprise development as well as tourism marketing within Ireland. It was formed in 2003 as a result of the National Tourism Development Authority Act to promote tourism as a key aspect of the Irish economy. Failte Ireland provides practical and business support to those involved in Irish tourism, and to those looking to set up tourism businesses in Ireland.

    Irish Travel Agents Association

    • The Irish Travel Agents Association (itaa.ie) was founded in 1971 and represents travel agents and tour operators in Ireland. The association supports 170 companies, some of which have several outlets across Ireland. All members of the ITAA are licensed and bonded and agree to follow the ITAA's code of conduct.

    • The Irish Tourist Industry Confederation is the representative body of the Irish tourist industry; members include Failte Ireland and Tourism Ireland, as well as government agencies and organizations whose activities impact on tourism in some capacity. Founded in 1984, the ITIC is central to decision-making processes affecting tourism and champions issues that are essential to continuing successful tourism in Ireland.
