Wall Decal Installation
As a home owner we do love to make our home comfy and elegant at the same time. We often search ways on how to improve its appearance without having to sacrifice its comfort ability.
There are lots of ways on how to beautify our home specifically on our living room, kitchen, bedroom or walls and windows. Some ways requires money, a lot of work or even hiring a professional. But, if there's an expensive way to decorate your home there is also a do-it-yourself (DIY) method with the same results that of a hired professional.
In this article we will tackle on how to transform our wall or windows from a mere typical wall into an elegant décor of your house. Decals are sticker like designs which Is made up from vinyl and can be apply in rooms inside your office or home.
I have outlined below the step by step guide on how to properly install a removable decal for your wall or window.
- Prior to installation, insert your sticker inside a big book, or better yet stack some books above the decal so it would be flat and easy to peel.
- Mark the area in which you will be installing the decal. That way you will have a picture on how will the decal would like if you with install it. Use a chalk marker so it can be easily washed or erase.
- Make sure that the surface you will be applying the decal is free of grease or dust. If there is a presence of dust or grease clean it with sugar soap and thoroughly rinse it clean water to make sure that it is clean. In some surfaces such as metals, windows or mirrors damp it (surface) lightly before applying the sticker or decal, it is because on surfaces that have mentioned above the sticker would easily stick thus there would be no room for you to reposition it.
- Carefully read the instructions; read it twice or even more so you can properly set up the decal without ruining it.
- Get sticker or decal from its backing and lightly position it to the desired area. Install it on the surface by using a soft cloth to smooth it.
In the event the decal is too large for one person, get a friend or family member to help you out, this way the installation would be easier and accurate. Making your home or office is easy as long you have proper knowledge, dedication and hard work.
