How to Survive This Economy

All you have to do is turn on the news or open a newspaper and you hear about government bailouts, let alone this being an election year and there is always some uncertainty there as well.
So, how do you survive in this uncertain economy? Give It Away.
Call me crazy but I believe that the fastest way to come into money is to give money away as well as your knowledge, experience, wisdom, time, talent, attention, encouragement and compliments.
I'm not the only one who believes this as well.
Sir John Marks Templeton who founded the Templeton Fund said the following:
Tithing always gives the greatest return on your investment.
Tithing is a money multiplier.
For example, if you pick an apple off an apple tree, what happens? The next year there are two apples for the one apple that was picked.
Money is the same way.
Others who believe in this same philosophy are Bill Gates, Oprah, John D.
Rockefeller and many, many more.
Pay yourself a minimum of 10%.
You have to pay yourself.
This is also called saving.
Take that 10% and invest it in yourself.
Isn't that what you are doing? Diversify your investments.
I'm not going to tell you where you should invest your money.
I am going to tell you that if you put your money all in one basket, you could very well be sorry in the long run.
Find a trusted and honest investment coach.
Multiple Streams of Income.
Make sure that you have more than one source of income.
That might be a second job in addition to your main one.
How about royalties, interest on accounts, dividends on stocks, real estate.
You get the picture.
Why would you want multiple streams of income? I want you to stop and think about how secure you are if you have only one stream of income.
You never know when that stream just might dry up.
I'm sure the folks at Lehman Brothers, Enron, AIG, and many more never thought their company would go belly up or be caught in a financial crisis.
Use the 7 Golden Words.
What are the 7 Golden Words? Try, 'Is that the best you can do?'.
Seriously, those words can save you tens, hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
Use them everywhere.
People use them places like credit card companies, hospitals, furniture stores, bulk wholesale clubs, insurance companies, automobile sales, real estate and many more places.
Don't be afraid to speak up and ask for a better deal.
You will be amazed at the results.
Don't act like a scared rabbit.
If you worry that the economy is going to fall and take you with, guess what, you are exactly right! If you think the world is going to come to an end, you are right! If you think that today will be the worse day of your life, you are right! Now for the good news...
If you believe that you are going to make more money today than you ever did before, you are right.
If you believe that you will have more opportunities to learn and grow today than you have ever had before, you are right.
If you believe today will be better than yesterday, you are right.
In other words, you determine your own outcome by how you think.
If you like feeling scared, unsure, terrified, by all means, please go ahead and continue to dwell on negative thoughts.
I wouldn't by any means want to deprive you of the things you like.
Henry Ford said it best...
If you think you can or if you think you can't, either way you are right.
Now, get out there.
Willingly give back those things you've earned, learned and mastered.
Remember to pay yourself, but also remember to not put all your eggs in one basket.
Find opportunities to make additional income.
Use those 7 golden words and take control of your thoughts!
