Securities Industry Associations
- Securities industry associations help professionals in the securities industry by keeping them abreast of the information that they need to know to succeed in their businesses. These organizations offer networking events, conferences, seminars and continuing education for this purpose. In addition, securities industry associations are involved in lobbying activities to ensure that legislators are aware of the needs of members in the industry.
- The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, or SIFMA, represents the interests of organizations in the securities industry, including banks, asset managers and securities firms. The association works to build a stronger financial industry through investor opportunities, economic growth and job creation.

sifma.org - The Security Industry Association, also known as the SIA, works to advance the securities industry through education, research and lobbying efforts.
