There are so many ways for a man and a woman to express their love for each other. The most common way is to say I Love You. But if you just say the words without any other action to support them the words alone can sometimes lose their impact. They almost sound commonplace and obligatory, like saying I'll call you later. Here are some tips to use to let your partner know that you love them.
1. Use Food. What's their favorite meal, snack or dessert? Cook them their favorite dinner without them asking for it and tell them...just because. Leave their favorite snack in the front seat of the car or in their brief case or purse with a special note. Serve them their favorite dessert when they are watching TV or just after they finish working on something around the house.
2. Simplify Things. Life is busy, schedules are hectic. Make it a little easier by making their lunch for them in the morning before they go to work. Prepare them breakfast while you are making your own. This may save them only a few minutes but it's one less thing they have to do in the morning and that perception makes a big difference.
3. Do something they don't expect. Add a bouquette of flowers to the shopping list. Most supermarkets sell flowers, buy a bunch for your partner the next time you are grocery shopping. Warm their car up for them or brush the snow off if you get up first. Unload the dishwasher if it's something you don't normally do. The action doesn't have to be fancy; sometimes the simple things can speak volumes.
