How to Change a Serpentine Belt for a Dodge Stealth

    • 1). Open the hood of the Stealth and locate the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. Grab onto the nut in the center of the pulley using the wrench.

    • 2). Turn the nut in the center of the pulley to the right using the wrench. Once the belt gets enough slack in it to be removed, then pull the belt off of all of the pulleys on the front of the engine.

    • 3). Place the new belt around the power steering pump pulley, across to the idler pulley, down to the drive shaft pulley in the center of the engine and around the tensioner pulley.

    • 4). Tighten the nut in the center of the tensioner pulley. Keep turning the nut until the new belt is snug on all of the pulleys.
