Flea Trap - You Can Suck, Swat, Whack and Stamp, But Nothing Wipes Out Fleas Better Than Traps
Ok, so you have seen the evidence for yourself, your dog or cat has been scratching like a demon and you have got the tell tale small, hard, red, slightly swollen itchy spots that are bites.
After giving your pet the once over you then see that, unfortunately fleas are using you all as a walking feast.
Not brilliant I agree so, what to do about getting rid of them? I think that using a flea trap has to be one of the first things that I would recommend to help.
Fleas are tricky little critters and really do need a bit of an all out assault on them to really make sure that you get them out of your pet, pet bedding and home for good.
It is not just about squishing them between your finger nails or sucking them up on full power into your vacuum.
You will need a carefully measured but easily formulated plan of action.
The problem with them really is that they are quite resilient and so you have to break their lifecycle to really make sure that 1.
The egg and larva cannot develop into full grown adults 2.
You kill the adults responsible for laying the revolting amount of up to 600 eggs in their lifetime.
You really do not have to be a maths genius to work out the implications of that statistic.
The favourite food source of these hopping horrors are warm blooded vertebrates, which makes cats, dogs and us prime targets for dinner.
They are attracted to us by the movement, smell and heat that we give off which is where the cunning use of a flea trap is just brilliant as; it works using just these principles.
Also, lucky for us that they do not possess much of a brain and so make their way towards what they think is a nice lunch in the form of a vibrating, warm, untimely demise, now that is just cool.
We all like to be as environmentally friendly as possible and so to be able to capture and kill anything that causes a problem humanely and without giving off noxious odours or fumes that could be harmful to our kids, pets or surroundings is just brilliant.
Having started your assault, you really need to continue with the correct treatment for your canine or feline pal too.
So, by using the right help and guidance to sort out them and their bedding (and possibly yours too if they sleep in your room) you will have everything back to normal before you know it.
Nobody likes the idea that their animal might have fleas but, the sooner you can sort it out the better and just remember you are never alone when it comes to something like this.
I am pretty sure you have the sympathies of any cat or dog owner for sure.
So, start the ball rolling and get a flea trap and you will see instant results that will help to put your mind at rest knowing you can do something so positively, so quickly.
