How to Explain Being Laid Off

Companies all over America have had to recalibrate their goals and financial obligations. This has forced many to lay people off. This is a point that a potential employer will recognize and understand.

- 3). Explain your desire to overcome being laid off and to secure a new challenge and position in the work force. List the reasons you would be a good candidate for the job.
