Men, Keep Your Game Alive With Proper Exercise

Maybe you are a man with an expanding waistline, and you may find it hard to climb a flight of stairs without feeling out of breath.
You might have noticed you have less firm muscle and more soft fat than you did in your twenties.
And you might be one of the many who experience problems with their love life or have become irritable or depressed, lack motivation and drive or feel tired and lack energy.
Some men even notice body changes, such as increased breast size.
If any of this sounds familiar, it is possible you are suffering from low testosterone levels.
Testosterone is a hormone that has many functions including helping promote the circulation of blood and has responsibility for the maintenance of muscle tissue.
Without adequate testosterone levels there can be important negative affects on the body such as reduced brain and intellectual activity and mood changes.
Declining levels of testosterone are one of the primary causes of the visible and invisible signs of aging, including loss of muscle and bone strength and joint degeneration.
Some men also experience a reduced quality of life and such symptoms as heart disease, high blood pressure, increased body fat and its associated health risks.
Some recent studies link lack of testosterone with the onset of Alzheimer's disease.
Men typically have 40-60 % more of this hormone than women but once past their 30's it begins to decrease at an increasing rate.
The loss is roughly 10% each decade and by the time a man reaches 80 years he has as much testosterone left as a 10 year old boy.
Recent studies have shown that more and more men are reporting low levels of testosterone due to lack of vigorous exercise and unhealthy diets.
It is a shame that this hormone is being allowed to dwindle away as the result of lifestyle as it is such a major factor in determining quality of life and is what makes a man 'a man'.
But you can keep your game alive and stall or even halt the decline in testosterone levels.
The two key contributors to maintaining healthy levels of this hormone are adopting a muscle building and maintaining strength training exercise program and eating a healthy natural protein rich diet with as little processed foods as possible.
Proper exercise that loads the major muscle groups with resistance (weight) increases blood flow.
This increased blood flow brings oxygen and nutrients to all body cells and tissues helping to stimulate the whole body including testosterone producing glands.
So, those who exercise regularly will have a higher level of testosterone in their body keeping their manly assets like strength and virility a whole lot longer as they get older.
For men, testosterone levels play a key role in almost everything affecting how fat, fit, strong, energetic and calm you are.
When you have a few weeks or months of your new strength training program under your belt you will feel your emotional wellbeing and self confidence building.
Your best days are not behind you as you now know a secret weapon to keep you youthful and strong.
