Review of Article Dominance - An Article Marketing Guide
Although the eBook Article Dominance by Mark Thompson is only 48 pages, it is full of information about article marketing.
There is no filler or fluff here.
Just good information on how to increase the effectiveness of your articles and, thereby, increase people wanting to read and click on your articles.
Article Dominance is very easy to read and even easier to understand.
Marketing concepts are clearly explained, including reasons for using article as a generator of traffic to your sites of interest.
The benefits of search engine optimization (SEO) are also explained.
But he does not go in-depth about keywords.
I found another source for this which is more informative, the $5 Per Day Formula.
One chapter outlines effective writing techniques detailing what to do and what not to do.
He explains the importance of submitting your material to articles directories and which directories you should use and how to get them ranked more efficiently.
He devotes two chapters to this, so it should show you how important this is.
What I like about Article Dominance: Effective ways to get ideas to create an effective title.
Its so simple, I could have kicked myself.
I see it every day.
Home of the 8-minute article.
Again the technique is so simple I keep wondering why I did not think of it.
But its explained fairly early in the book, this alone, to me, is worth the price of the book.
One caveat here though: Can you write an 8-minute article right from the start if you have no experience, no.
But you can with practice.
How to best utilize the author resource box and why it is very important.
Mark provides you good examples of good resource boxes, and the one he found the most effective.
If you are not getting a 20-30% click through rate from your articles, it could be your resource box.
He gives you a strategy for submitting your articles.
He lists which directories you should focus on, but if you want to do more, that is fine, the more the merrier.
Unlike many resources I've read he doesn't advocate sending your articles to 100's of directories.
Article Dominance explains how writing articles is a long-term strategy.
How you can reap the benefits of your work for years to come.
Your content is out there for others to read, sending traffic to your site, even years after you first wrote the article.
