DUI Test: 5 Sobriety Exams Given Before a Drunk Driving Arrest

A DUI test is designed to see whether or not you have been drinking and driving.

Nystagamus This DUI test is designed to check the movement of your eyes.

Walk and Turn For this DUI test the officers will ask you to walk in a straight line in a heel-to-toe type manner.

Finger to Nose In this test, the officers will ask you to: Keep your feet together Title your head.
Stretch out your arms Touch the tip of your nose with your index finger Repeat with the other hand You will fail this test if: Miss your nose Your arms start shaking You lose your balance 5.
Counting and Reciting the Alphabet The officers will ask you to count or recite the alphabet forwards and backwards.
You will fail this test if: You skip number or letters Lose your concentration Slur the numbers of letter If you fail any one of these tests, you will be arrested for a DUI.
Besides the legal troubles you will face, getting a DUI can be really expensive.
