Our World Game Places - The Boardwalk

To the right of Electric Avenue is The Boardwalk, Our World's number one entertainment venue! Here you will found the Buzz Coffee shop where you can sit and have a coffee with your friends or play the coffee cup game.
The coffee cup game is your classic spot the ball routine, you start with three cups, the ball is placed under one cup and the cups are interchanged quickly, you must keep track of which cup the ball is under! If you're just in the mood for staring at your screen you can check out the sideshow, Our World have cleverly integrated YouTube into their game in a cinematic environment, your characters appear seated in front of the YouTube video.
Unfortunately not all YouTube videos can be seen as the collection is a predetermined.
While seated you and other players vote if the current selection will be played or passed on.
If you've ever fancied being a DJ you can make your way over to the Starlight Lounge.
There you can sit and chill out, have a dance or even play your own music set as a DJ! An interesting game on offer in Boardwalk is SplatterBox, your first impression may well be its a fancy version of Microsoft Paint but look a little closer and you'll notice a start button.
Click the start button and you'll see a ball rolls around following the lines, shapes etc.
drawn on the screen.
The ball leaves behind it the effect of the selected tool i.
e.
if you have selected a spray can the ball will leave behind a spray effect.
You can create some really wacky paint effects with this Our World game! The most innovative piece of entertainment at Boardwalk and perhaps in Our World is Dance Planet.
In Dance Planet you are given the chance to earn new dance moves for your character.
To earn a dance move you first have to prove yourself worthy by dancing to a selection of music.
Once you have chosen a song you have to hit several keys on your keyboard to the music.
Some of the songs go on for quite a while and the more keys you hit correctly the greater the chance of winning a move! To top it off you can play Dance Planet against other in game players! The last area worthy of mention and perhaps the most intriguing is the Beach, and I say intriguing because unfortunately I was not able to visit! The Beach is for paying players (one of many resident exclusive parts of Our World) only and as a free player I was wrestled to the ground by security (no this didn't really happen but there are parallels here with my real life!).
