The potions are endless so right away I need to know who you are, what you are selling me, why I should choose you, not the thousands of other options. Hi there, I'm Phil Pallen and I am able to market brands in a range of industries including insurance, retail, entertainment and start-ups. Regardless of what industry you are in, you need a brand. You need to be able to focus on one audience, maybe a specific audience for insurance and not worry so much about being pigeonholed. That should be the least of your worries. Think like the customer, that's always a good rule of thumb. It could e a young family, a retired couple or someone looking for complete financial planning which could include stuff like group insurance, health plans for employees, all that kind of thing. The possibilities really are endless. The market is competitive so if you are an expert and I the customer, really believe in what you are selling me, I'm one step closer to trusting you. Now maybe you've heard of the old 10-3-1 rule, where among every 10 perspective customers, 3 are serious and 1 is willing to buy. Focus your energy on the customers who are serious and you can show me that you are confident and trustworthy, not only can I feel better about spending money with you but I can also rely on you for advice.
