Zac Brown Band


The Zac Brown Band will bring their country music style to Klipsch Music Center this month with their Great American Road Trip Tour. The band has received three Grammys and had 11 #1 hits in their career. Their current album, The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 is currently climbing the charts.Tickets range in price from $28.50 to $68.50.

Steve-O Live at Morty's Comedy Joint


Known for his zanny antics in Jackass, Steve-O broke into TV fame with his videos of crazy skateboard stunts. In the months leading up to the release of JACKASS 3D he immersed himself in standup comedy, which had been a part-time hobby during the previous four years. Successful performances at prestigious comedy venues such as LA’s Laugh Factory and New York City’s Comedy Cellar led to his current tour performing standup, stunts and bar-tricks across North America, Australia and Europe, which he has dubbed “Steve-O’s Entirely Too Much Information Tour.” Tickets are $20.

44th Annual Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration


Indiana Black Expo's Summer Celebration is one of the largest events in Indianapolis all year. The organization uses its largest event as an opportunity to an effective voice and vehicle for the social and economic advancement of African-Americans. The expo will feature educational conferences, family events, many concerts and much more.

Animals and All That Jazz


Visitors to the Indianapolis Zoo get a special treat during summer Thursday evenings during the "Animals and All That Jazz" series. Enjoy jazz music while taking in the sights and sounds of the animals. This season the new International Orangutan Center will serve as the backdrop in the middle of Zoo grounds. Picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Lawn chairs are welcome. "Animals and All That Jazz" is free for Zoo members and included with regular Zoo admission.

'Shrek The Musical'


It's everyone's favorite green ogre! Shrek The Musical is based on the Oscar winning DreamWorks film of the same name. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseeming ogre shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won’t shut up, a bad guy with a short temper and over a dozen fairy tale misfits, and you have the makings of fun for the entire family who retreats to an ugly green swamp to exist in happy isolation. Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances are $20. Thursday performances are $10. Children’s tickets (ages 12 and under) for any show are just $10.

Bastille Day Celebration


Enjoy a little French culture and history right here in Indiana! This Bastille Day celebration features plenty of French food, music, entertainment. The event caters to families, offering fun things like face painting, a bounce house and even a French-themed puppet show. At dusk, enjoy a beautiful candle-light lantern procession for the children - a French tradition for Bastille Day. The event ends with a special laser light show across a large screen. This event is free and open to everyone!

'Miles and Ellie'


Miles and Ellie are two unlikely teenagers in love when a youthful misunderstanding breaks them apart. BBQ RibFest


Enjoy tasty ribs, 25 rocking blues bands, drinks and much more! Ribfest is in its 17th year and has become a summertime favorite. Vendors include seven national award winners and several local favorites. Admission is free every day until 2:30 p.m. Afterwards, tickets are $7 for adults 16 and over/ $5 for students/police/military/fire & seniors and $3 for adults on Sunday. Kids age 15 and under are free.
