Cork Oak Trees - Some General Information
As many of you know cork oak trees are the major sources for the wine bottles caps and it has plenty of other uses as well.

Unless otherwise it becomes very old and unproductive it is being cut.

These trees are predominantly grown in the southern regions of Europe and Portugal is one among the leading producers of oak products.
This tree is being used mainly in the manufacturing of cork stoppers for the wine bottles.
The other major use of this tree includes the furniture making and even it is being used in house flooring in many of the areas.
