Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3
Peter Parker: Four years ago, Peter was bitten by a genetically altered spider and became Spider-Man. He is generally a good person who fights crime as Spider-Man and helps citizens in need. In Spider-Man 3, though, he aquires a black suite that brings out his darker self. He becomes selfish, prideful, and vengeful. Peter ends up hurting the people he loves, and must battle within himself to gain control.
Things are just beginning to go well for Peter Parker. He has found the balance between being Spider-Man and having a life of his own, and he has won the girl of his dreams. Good times never last long for Peter, though, and even with three new powerful villains - Sandman, Venom, and the New Goblin (Peter's friend Harry, who turns on him after finding out that he is Spider-Man.) - his greatest battle is within himself.
