Joss Whedon sells his 4,064-square-foot house in Los Angeles" Brentwood area for $2.47M
TV show creator, writer and executive producer Joss Whedon has recently sold his house at 1000 Amherst Avenue in Brentwood. The house had been listed for sale in 2008 for a price of around $3.65 million. It has been sold for around $2.47 million. Whedon has not really had as good a sale as he had hoped for because the price is much lower than expected.
It boasts of 4 bedrooms as well as an area of 4,064 square foot. This house has quite the trappings of luxury and opulence that you might expect from such an expensive house. Apart from 5 bathrooms, there are two in-house offices and even a media room. Joss, being a media celebrity and acclaimed director, had also built a music studio in the house.
Don't tell me you haven't heard of Joss Whedon! If not the guy himself, you must have heard of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' of which Joss happens to be the creator. He is quite a well-acclaimed writer and also an executive producer of shows in the hugely popular science fiction genre.
