In this competitive industry, you would probably think that pay per click and search engine optimization are already dominated by hungry marketers' websites and adverts.
There is a huge market for this industry, and most people will not even consider the first business that they come across because there is so much marketing hype, pitch and general noise out there.
People have seen it all before.
You can build a huge list of subscribers and followers just by using your webcam and a microphone.

Go and research some of the top marketers, follow them on their blogs and websites and subscribe to their lists.
Try and interpret what they are doing to keep subscribers loyal, and use some of the techniques that they are (obviously without copying any of their content).
Another fantastic thing you could do is ask a few big dog marketers to come and speak with you on Skype.
Discuss ideas, ask lots of useful questions and you will receive useful answers.
Join in on webinars and participate if you want to ask something.
By hanging around experts, you will be learning from experts in an expert environment.
