How to Replace a Kawasaki G3SS Headlight
- 1). Remove the retaining screw from the bottom right side of the black headlight housing, using a Phillips screwdriver.
- 2). Pull the bottom edge of the outer headlight trim ring off the headlight housing by hand. Lift the top edge of the trim ring off of the lip molded into the top of the headlight housing. Pull the outer trim ring and the attached headlight lens away from the headlight housing.

- 4). Insert a new 6-volt, 1.5-watt headlight bulb into the headlight lens. Place the socket over the back of the bulb, then push the socket forward and twist it clockwise to lock the bulb in place.
- 5). Hook the top of the outer trim ring over the lip of the headlight housing. Push the bottom of the trim ring against the headlight housing until the entire trim ring is mounted flush against the headlight housing.
- 6). Screw the retaining screw into the bottom right side of the headlight housing to secure the trim ring in place, using a Phillips screwdriver.
