How to Get Banshee to Work in Ubuntu
- 1). Right-click on the desktop and choose the "Open in Terminal" option to access a command prompt.
- 2). Type the command "sudo aptitude install banshee" to install the banshee software package.
- 3). Click on the "Applications" menu, highlight the "Sound and Video" option and click on the "Banshee" option to open the Banshee music player. The software will automatically read the music files on your computer and add them to the library.
- 4). Click on the "Music" option on the left side of the screen.
- 5). Click on the name an artist from the list directly below the word "Music" or click on one of the albums in the main window.
- 6). Double-click on a song title at the bottom of the screen to play the song.
