Turn Conversations With Book Authors Into Interview Articles
If you meet a very knowledgeable author or writer of a book, then you may wish to open a dialogue with them and use the conversation for "interview" type articles for your online marketing efforts.
In fact, ask the author if you can tape record the conversations and then use both sides of the conversation in an interview format.
If they agree, go ahead and mention that they are the author of a book and plug the book somewhere in the article, or mention that they wrote the book; "Such and Such.
" After doing this now several times, I have been amazed at the ability to rapidly produce articles this way.
After all, you can take a 2-hour conversation and make it into a good 40-50 articles, and best of all you are getting total expert advice and opinions this way.
After all, an author of a book discussing with you information on various topics gives your article credibility, and it gives you an opportunity to really learn something.
Indeed, it is also very much worth the authors time as well, because they get more mentions online, helping them sell more books.
Sometimes in doing this you can become disappointed however, as you listen to the author you find that they really do not know what they are talking about, but that's okay, as long as you are doing both sides of the debate, you will still produce content.
Although, to prevent them from looking stupid in their ignorance, sometimes you may wish to leave mention of them out of the article to help them save face.
Think on this.
