How Should I Organize the Baby's Chest of Drawers?

    • 1). Separate the baby clothes into piles according to size. Set the clothes that are currently too big or too small for the baby to one side.

    • 2). Pile the clothing that is the right size for the baby now according to type. For example, make separate piles for socks, onesies, pants and pajamas.

    • 3). Put underclothes in the top drawer of the dresser. Depending on the age of the baby, this may include onesies, sleepers and socks. Insert drawer dividers in the drawer to keep the piles separated in the drawer.

    • 4). Place tops in the second drawer. If you have limited drawers in the chest, combine tops and bottoms according to seasonality in the descending drawers. For example, if it is summer, put short-sleeved tops or summer dresses in the second drawer, then pants and long-sleeved tops in the third drawer. Otherwise, just put tops in the second drawer and bottoms in the third.

    • 5). Store any clothing that is too large for the baby in the last drawer, if you still have one available. If not, put the clothes in a plastic bin in the closet until the baby is big enough to wear them. Give away used clothes that are too small for the baby
