How to Use Bars for Pie Charts in Excel

1). Open the Excel file.
2). Click the bar chart.
3). Click the "Insert" tab on the command ribbon.
4). Click the window launcher arrow in the lower right corner of the "Charts" tab.

A window entitled "Change Chart Type" appears. A list of charts, including pie charts, appears.
5). Click the preferred pie chart from the list. Examples of pie charts include 2-D pie, 3-D pie and exploded pie.
6). Click "OK." The bar chart converts to a pie chart.
7). Edit the chart, if preferred.
8). Save this file or save as a copy with a different file name.
