• 1). Unload the weapon completely and ensure that the weapon is on "Safe."

    • 2). Place the weapon upside down in a padded gun vise; point the muzzle in a safe direction.

    • 3). Mark the bottom of the stock with a pencil 2 inches from the end. The marks should be centered in the butt end of the stock.

    • 4). Draw marks 2 inches from the muzzle-end of the foregrip. The marks must be centered.

    • 5). Drill 1/8-inch diameter pilot holes for the swivel stud. Make the hole 75 percent as deep as the swivel-stud stud threading.

    • 6). Place a drop of plastic glue into the swivel pilot-holes.

    • 7). Screw in the swivel studs until they are flush against the stock. Turn them by hand until this action becomes hard; use the pliers to turn them until flush. Wipe away any excess glue.Allow the glue to set and dry for 24 hours prior to attaching the sling.
