This Popular Anti-Cancer Drug Causes Cancer - 6 Ways To Prevent Cancer

There is a growing number of published in-depth studies indicating that the drug Tamoxifen causes cancer.
For example, cancer has occurred in the uterine, liver and even the breast.
If that is not enough, there are also risks like blood clots, stroke and eye damage linked to Tamoxifen.
Some studies point to the consequence of uterine cancer in women who took Tamoxifen to prevent cancer because they were considered the high-risk.
Tamoxifen induced liver cancer in rats at low doses.
Even its manufacturer, pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca, acknowledges that Tamoxifen is a carcinogen! Tamoxifen is in the list of known carcinogens complied annually by the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences.
You can download the "Report on Carcinogens" at its website.
It is considered a human carcinogen based on sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity from studies in humans.
It comes either in a pill under the brand Nolvadex, or in a liquid branded as Soltamox.
It is generally prescribed to both women and men with:
  • Early-stage breast cancer after surgery (or chemotherapy and radiation) to reduce remission.
  • Advanced-stage or metastatic hormone-receptor-related cancer.
  • High-risk women to prevent breast cancer, and is usually taken for five years.
According to Dr.
Sherrill Sellman author of Hormone Heresy: What Women MUST Know About Their Hormones, some studies reveal a six-fold increase in liver cancer among women taking Tamoxifen for more than two years.
Though rare, cases of tamoxifen-induced acute hepatitis and liver failure have been reported.
In 1999, the journal Science carried a report by the Duke University Medical Center which found that after two to five years, Tamoxifen initiated the growth of breast cancer.
Tamoxifen binds to your estrogen receptors in the breast with the intention to prevent excess estrogen binding, hence stopping cancer from forming.
However a bipolar behaviour emerges when Tamoxifen is in the uterine, heart, bones and blood vessels - it actually exhibits estrogenic properties! What an irony for a drug developed to stop one cancer unwittingly causes other deadly cancers.
However instead of removing this carcinogen, tamoxifen is still very much in the market, heavily promoted and praised for its breakthrough benefits.
Its fatal side-effects are conveniently brushed aside or claimed to be treatable.
This does show how unwilling regulatory bodies are when it comes to removing a profitable money-spinner.
Incidentally, the company has been sponsoring the October's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month since the 1985.
Considering that breast cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers today, simple interventions could save countless numbers of lives.
6 Ways To Protect Against Cancer
  1. Vitamin D Also known as a safer equivalent to Tamoxifen! Researchers in Israel took human breast cancer cells and treated them with a potent form of vitamin D.
Within days, half the cancer cells shriveled up and died.
Vitamin D, also known as the Sunshine vitamin exhibited the same effect as Tamoxifen.
To ensure adequate vitamin D intake, get enough sunlight.
Thirty minutes twice per week, between 10 am and 3 pm would be sufficient.
If sun exposure is not possible, a safe tanning bed would be another alternative or even a supplement.
For oral supplements, get your blood levels checked first.
  2. Animal-Based Omega-3 Fats Omega-3 fats EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexanoic acid) are well-known by now that they are important to our diet.
A deficiency in omega-3 is a common underlying factor for cancer, and for that matter many health conditions (think heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, etc) as well.
Optimizing your animal-based omega-3 fat intake can be obtained from quality, free-from-toxins fish oil.
  3. Control Insulin Levels Controlling insulin levels a strategic move you can make to lower cancer risks.
A diet that has been taken over by unhealthy processed foods and refined sugars trigger the production of more insulin raising its amount to abnormal levels that will eventually cause harm and damage.
Let's not forget that cancer thrives on sugar.
  4. Exercise Exercise drives the insulin levels down.
This in turn creates a low sugar environment that discourages the growth and spread of cancer cells.
  5. Eat Your Greens Eat as many raw vegetables as you can.
They should be in a wide variety, fresh and ideally organic, though non-organic vegetables are still better than wilted organic ones.
Try juicing too, which helps you take in all the nutrients.
  6. Sleep Getting enough restful sleep helps the body defend against cancer by keeping hormones like melatonin in balance.
During sleep the brain makes melatonin, an antioxidant that helps to suppress free radicals in the body and slows the production of estrogen, which can activate cancer.
