Maintaining Focus On The Forex Currency Exchange

A lot of people will tell you that your first day trading is a lot like your first day at school, nothing could be farther from the truth. No one is your friend, not even your broker and believe me you will need to keep you eye on them. Each and every trade you make is a risk and one whose consequences you must live with, however when you win (and with due diligence you will) it makes the journey worth it. Although you have to understand that you need to use a demo account prior to trading live, it will save your life (trust me on this).

Remembering that Forex like any great journey in life is one of small steps and not leaps and bounds is key in understanding that each great fortune is built not with giant boulders, but many small rocks. Ultimately your job is to understand that your life and the Forex currency exchange will be incremental and not a rush run type of scenario. This profession requires commitment and dedication of the highest caliber that cannot be compromised if you ever truly want to make Forex trading a career.

Falling in love with the idea of making gobs of money very quickly is not a great idea either, you should be grateful to not lose money each and every time you make a trade. In the long run breaking even will not get you anywhere but in the short term it is a necessary reality and one that you should be grateful for. Do not allow get rich quick schemes such as Forex robots and the like to deceive you into believing that when you do not make money immediately things are going wrong. It is actually just the opposite, because if you do not know HOW and WHY you are making money you are GAMBLING. If you want to make a living gambling play poker! Happy trading!
