Rebuilding Your Relationship in a Bad Economy

So much has happened so fast in our lives this year that with worrying about our jobs, investments and mortgages, we have neglected our relationships.
Too many of us have ignored our loved ones because of all the other stress and chaos caused by the economy.
Hard times related to economic problems have caused many relationships to break apart under the pressure.
Did you come to your senses only when you realized your relationship was already in ruins? Do you feel that you would do anything to go back a few months and change your behavior? If you really still care for your ex and would do whatever it takes to make up with your mate, you have a big challenge ahead of you.
Repairing your relationship is possible even if the break up wasn't friendly, but it will take work and patience.
The first thing you need to do is take a hard and honest look at your situation.
Are you sure there is still anything left to save? Do you believe your ex still has any feelings for you? You also have to seriously decide if you are willing to put out the effort that may be needed to mend your relationship.
Some of your ex's emotional scars may take some time to heal and you will need to be patient to be successful.
If you are not truthful with yourself here, you will probably just cause yourself more pain and frustration.
If you decide it is worth the effort to win your ex back, you need to repair the things that caused the most trouble in the past.
Try to build up the good things you had before and eliminate the bad.
You don't want to rebuild your relationship as it was before but make it stronger for the both of you.
The relationship failed before during troubled times so you want it to be stronger to survive what may come in the future.
This stronger bond should make both of you feel much more secure and happy in the future.
