How to Choose the Best Skincare Products - 3 Active Ingredients Your Skincare Should Have

I don't have perfect skin. Far from it. Over the years I have struggled with acne, scars from acne, blackheads, uneven skin-tone, and now that I am in my thirties I am increasingly aware of the importance of anti-aging care for my skin. Of course we all want to look our best, and my "problem" skin has lead me to try many products and methods to improve the quality of my skin. Having spent thousands of dollars on skincare products and salon treatments, I want to share with you my tips to finding the most effective skincare products.

I have found that the key is in the ingredients. Lots of high quality, natural ingredients that have been shown to be effective, and you can't go wrong.

Look for the following ingredients to find the best skincare products. Do not be fooled by advertisement and marketing. Have a look at the list of ingredients. More often than not you will find that behind the glossy magazine ad with the latest top-model or Hollywood actress the products they advertise contain cheap and ineffective ingredients, which may even be harmful, and very little active ingredients that truly work to make your skin more healthy and beautiful. Just because the advertising is high profile, or a really expensive product, does not mean it will most effective skincare you can invest in.

1. Natural Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol)
Most of us have heard that Vitamin E is beneficial to skin. How does it help our skin? First of all by acting as an anti-oxidant. This allows vitamin E to fight the effects of free radicals which attack your skin from pollution, UV radiation, poor nutrition and aging, which we all face.

Vitamin E has been show to really help the healing of scars, making them gradually less visible, including stretch marks.Vitamin E is so valuable to skin that it even is beneficial on serious skin conditions such as psoriasis and erythema, and may help in reducing the risk of skin cancer.

The most effective skincare products contain vitamin E in a natural form which are more effectively absorbed and used by the skin.

2. Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10
CoenzymeQ10 is another term we often hear in advertisements. What is it? CoenzymeQ10 is a vitamin-like substance that has powerful anti-oxidant properties, and is present in every cell of our body. Aging and stress cause the levels of this valuable substance to decrease. What does it do? Reduces wrinkles, protects against the effects of harmful UV-A rays from the sun, nourishes the skin and rejuvenates it by increasing cell activity.

But not all CoenzymeQ10 are equal. It must be presented in an effective form, and in a high enough quantity to have effect. Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 is a special "nano-emulsion" form of CoenzymeQ10 which penetrates deeply into the skin to effectively reduce wrinkles and increase collagen and elastin production.

3. Cynergy TK
Few of us have heard of this recent breakthrough. Cynergy TK is actually a patented form of keratin, a protein found in our body, essential to our skin. Again, not all keratins are created equal. In this form, the skin is able to get the most out of the keratin, reducing lines and wrinkles, getting rid of red inflammation. Its like a liquid skin, that gives an immediate smoothness and glow while going deep to heal and protect the skin.

So there you have it, three safe ingredients that truly work to make your skin more healthy and beautiful. The best skincare products should have active ingredients that truly deliver their promises. Educate yourself and shop wisely.

Remember that to have beautiful healthy skin, use not only the most effective skincare products but also care for and nurture your skin from the inside as well. A healthy, balanced lifestyle will show on your face.
