How to Unlock a Samsung SGH-T429
- 1). Call T-Mobile’s customer services line at 1-877-453-1304 (between 3 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
- 2). Provide the customer services rep with the IMEI number of your Samsung T429. You can find it by typing “*#06#.” Tell the rep you want an unlock code for the phone. Usually, it takes a couple of days for them to respond with the code.
- 3). Turn on the Samsung T429 without a SIM.
- 4). Type in “#7465625*638*CODE#” (replace CODE with the subsidy unlock code obtained from T-Mobile).
- 5). Wait for the phone to read, “Network Lock Deactivated.” The phone will automatically reboot, after which you will be able to use it with any GSM network carrier’s SIM card.
