Recycled Color Trend: Fresh Color
Spring 2014 was the season of beautiful and muted candy colors. Pink, peach, and mint green, continue to grace the home decor industry. Summery navy blue and indigo, were also forecast this year, as a mini-trend. Paired with red, or even emerald green, this is a bold and affluent palette.
Perhaps it's hard to refer to some colors as a trend when they reappear every year. I like the term "recycled" when a color palette comes back or endures year after year.
Fresh color is a recycled trend that has had style staying power for the past few years. Popular and fresh color palettes include aqua, apple green, turquoise, or mint green. Paired with white, these airy colors are the centerpiece for beach and spa style decorating, and are equally fabulous in vintage or upcycled spaces.
Aqua + Green is a favorite fresh color combination. This palette takes the best of cool aqua and pairs it with crisp green, for a fun and light look. Color Inspiration Aqua + Green
