Brown Age Spots - The Causes and Cures Revealed

If you want to learn more about brown age spots then you are going to find this article very useful.
In this article I'm going to share the main causes as well as the cures of brown age spots.
So if you interested in knowing what exactly causes these spots or if you already have them and are looking for a solution then read this article.
Causes Aging spots, which are also referred to as liver spots, lentigines, sun spots or lentigos, are dark pigmentations that are caused by the overproduction of melanin, the skin pigment.
This over production in melanin is triggered by repeated sun exposure.
Melanin is actually produced by the body as a defense mechanism to protect skin from the very harmful UV rays that damage skin, cause wrinkles and many other dangerous skin problems including cancer.
The problem occurs when we repeatedly expose our skin to the sun.
When this happens, the body keeps producing more melanin in the epidermis, the top layer of skin, as a defense mechanism.
This extra melanin that is produced eventually clumps up to form what we see as brown age spots on skin.
Cures Since prevention is better than cure, I personally think it's much better to protect your skin and keep it shaded from the sun to avoid getting these spots on your skin.
If you however already have brown age spots, you can fade them by using a skin lotion that contains Extrapone nutgrass root.
This special substance has the ability to inhibit melanin production as well as naturally lighten skin.
That's the best remedy I have come across so far.
Whatever you do avoid using bleach creams.
They can and will damage you skin in the long run.
