Strength Training For Weight Loss

Drop the knee back down; go as low as you can without straining too much. Let your breath out, return to the starting position, pushing with the front legs. As you work to increase the number of repetitions you can complete, make sure you always have the same number of repetitions per leg to firm up your flab evenly on both sides.

Lately, Pilates has become fashionable, and can be a great way for women to shed fat and tone your thighs and buttocks. There are several options if you want to start this type of strength training.

You can find a Pilate class or center near you, or you can use a book or a DVD and exercise at home. Pilates focuses on the core or central body and is ideal for the abdomen, back, buns and legs. If you are struggling to lose weight, you should also do cardio exercises as well, but Pilates can definitely help tone your body, including the abdomen, thighs and buns. These will firm up your flab in no time. It may cause your to be sore at first, but just remember, you are burning fat and will firm up your flab as the end result.
