Why George Zimmerman is guilty – Part 1
He had a concealed weapon, if Trayvon martin would have seen a gun he would not have fought with him:
Would you start a fist fight with an armed person on a dark rainy night after he has stalked you for several blocks? Let me think about this for a minute... Hell no! I seriously believe Trayvon Martin wouldn't either.
Where did George Zimmerman carry his gun? In his waistband or in jacket pocket? The jury will want to know at what point did Zimmerman pull the weapon out. Was it before or after Zimmerman had exhausted every reasonable means to escape.
George Zimmerman Is Guilty Because He Was The Aggressor:
George Zimmerman was the aggressor and provoked the use of force (by Martin) against himself by chasing Martin in an aggressive manner. If you we walking home and a strange man followed you and then chased after you when you tried to run away wouldn't you feel threatened or in danger?
Ever heard of flight or fight? Trayvon tried to run but had to fight once Zimmerman caught up with him.
George Zimmerman Is Guilty Because His Use Of A Concealed Weapon Was Unlawful:
So you say George Zimmerman is not guilty because he has a right to carry a canceled weapon and the right to defend himself. I say you are wrong, George Zimmerman is guilty because of the law and how it applies to a person licensed to carry a concealed weapon. Florida Statutes 776.041 addresses Use of force by aggressor.
Use of Deadly Force for Lawful Self-Defense
—The justification described in the preceding sections of this chapter is not available to a person who:
(2) Initially provokes the use of force against himself or herself, unless:
(a) Such force is so great that the person reasonably believes that he or she is in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm and that he or she has exhausted every reasonable means to escape such danger other than the use of force which is likely to cause death or great bodily harm to the assailant; or
(b) In good faith, the person withdraws from physical contact with the assailant and indicates clearly to the assailant that he or she desires to withdraw and terminate the use of force, but the assailant continues or resumes the use of force.
Commissioner Adam H. Putnam has a message to concealed weapon license holders that reads:
To carry a concealed firearm is to take on an immense responsibility. It is very important to understand that a license to carry a concealed weapon does not give the license holder discretionary authority to use that weapon. It is my sincere hope that you will never find it necessary to use your weapon in self-defense; however, if circumstances require you to do so, you should know that the law will protect you only if your actions in using deadly force have been consistent with the law.
Do you think George Zimmerman's actions in using deadly force have been consistent with the law?
