Every Home Buyer Has A Different Story to Tell
Spending almost a decade in the real estate industry made the author attached to the different situations and challenges that home buyers face.
Many would think that "behind every story" of home buying is the ultimate dream of the buyer is to own his own space and perhaps realize his dream home.
There's no argument with this.
But there are factors that force home buyers to pursuit and purchase a house.
Moving from one place to another imposes a change of environment.
Sometimes, an individual needs this to breathe and continue with his life.
Of course, some of us would just say that this is just the buyer's melodramatic story influenced by a TV drama/reality show.
Little of us would know that a family member needs fresher air because of health reasons.
Or the eldest daughter needs new neighborhood to recover from a traumatic incident.
Some home buyers also tell the story of growth and expansion.
Majority of home buyers would delve into the goal of buying a house to fulfill the dream of independence.
Perhaps either by moving away from his or her parents to start an adult life or to signal venture into own family life.
There are home buyers who seek new house because the current residence will become restricted because of a new baby on the way.
While these stories may be the background of home buyer stories in one way or another, there are some that certainly excel in terms of touching the author's heart.
One particular story which is worth sharing is about a couple who sought help in order to find a suitable house for their growing family.
They have a daughter while the couple is expecting their new baby.
Cutting the story short, negotiations were done to make the seller to at least slash some price off to the asking price.
Through several meetings, the deal was closed and the couple set a date for the move-in.
With much excitement to their new sanctuary, couple invited the author for some lunch.
It was a very fine and casual day that no one would expect it could have a pivotal point to make it extraordinary.
While chit-chats, munches, and sips are done, the couple's daughter was merrily playing on the lawn.
She was such a picture of a very happy child.
Or was it at that time a great picture of innocence.
It wasn't until she approached her daddy from behind and embraced him on the legs as he was standing.
The next scene surprised the couple and it wasn't near any scene from a cartoon that the girl was frequently watching.
The little girl said "Daddy, thank you for buying my new playground.
" It appeared that the little girl enjoyed the spacious lawn that she acknowledged it as her playground.
From the conversations, this author learned that one consideration in their home purchase was a place where their playful and adventurous daughter can safely play.
How about you, what's your home buying story?
