How to Make Gift Money Envelopes
- 1). Set a piece of paper flat on a table or counter and lay your money directly on top. Use the money as a template for designing your gift envelope.
- 2). Fold the left side of the paper over, until it reaches the edge of the money. Repeat this process on the right side of the paper.
- 3). Pull the bottom edge of the paper up, until it touches the bottom edge of the money, and fold it in place.
- 4). Remove the money from the template and run your glue stick along the left and right edges of the bottom flap. Press the side flaps of the paper directly onto the glue and gently rub out any air bubbles.
- 5). Fold the sides of the top flap into a triangle shape and glue them in place. Allow the glue to dry completely.
- 6). Decorate the envelope using rubber stamps with designs suitable to the event. Lightly press a stamp onto the surface of an ink pad and then press it firmly against the envelope. Allow the ink to dry completely.
- 7). Insert the money and close the envelope with a seal and wax for an elegant finish.
