On a stroll through the grounds of the Iberostar Tucan and Iberostar Quetzal you can observe many animals wandering freely. We spotted this agouti. Known in the Yucatan Peninsula as tzereques, agoutis are short-tailed rodents which are native to this area of Mexico.
