How to Connect a Razor to Your Computer

    • 1). Navigate to the Motorola USB driver link provided in the Resources section below. You need to install this driver to properly connect the Razor to the computer. Select the version of Windows you have to download the correct driver (32 or 64 bit).

    • 2). Download the driver and open the new file that appears either on your desktop or "Downloads" pop-up window. The installation wizard is going to launch in a few moments.

    • 3). Follow the prompts of the installation wizard to complete the driver setup process.

    • 4). Restart your computer once the driver has completed its installation.

    • 5). Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the phone. This is the same port where you plug in your power adapter. Insert the other side of the cable into an available USB port on the computer. In a moment the computer is going to state it has detected a new removable memory device.

    • 6). Open up "My Computer" ("Computer" in the newer versions of Windows) and you can see the Motorola Razor listed as one of the removable memory devices.
