- 1). Prepare the wrap by dissolving sea salt in two cups boiling water in a sauce pan on the stove. Add olive oil, herbs and clay and mix until a paste is formed. Allow it to cool enough so you can handle it. It should be warm, but not hot enough to burn the skin.
- 2). Alternately, you can prepare the wrap in a microwave by putting water and salt in a microwave safe bowl and heating for approximately 3 minutes. Remove using oven mitts, and add olive oil, herbs and sea salt. Mix until you form a paste. Allow to cool until you can handle it without burning the skin.
- 3). Take a quick, hot shower while the mud is cooling to open your pores.
- 4). Slather the paste over the entire body. Cover it with strips of sheets or thin towels and let it sit for one hour.
- 5). Shower in cool water to close your skin's pores.
