2 Big Weight Loss Mistakes That Are Keeping You From Achieving Your Fat Loss Goals!
Watch out for these key diet mistakes that has caused many dieters to lose their will and jump off of the diet band wagon.
1.
Make sure you set realistic goals for your weight loss.
Watch out for these diets that say you will lose 10 pounds in a week or 50 pounds in a month.
This is impossible without cutting off a limb.
I don't think you want to take that route, Set a goal like 1-2 pounds a week.
If you are a bigger guy or gal then 1-3 pounds a week is fine.
There will be some weeks when you do not lose weight at all.
This is called a plateau.
It is when the body is adjusting to your new eating lifestyle and the weight loss may stop for as much as three weeks.
Do not lose your confidence.
In fact, I suggest you focus on the process of what you're eating and the exercise you are doing each day and not on the number of pounds you're losing.
If you do the right things then the pounds will take care of themselves.
2.
Do not deprive yourself of all of your food pleasures.
This may include what is called junk food.
This can be taken in moderation if your body can tolerate it.
Obviously, if you are a diabetic you do not want to be eating high sugar products.
Also if you are overly tempted with foods you tend to overeat, then stay away from those foods.
Find a substitute for that evil food choice.
