How to Add Words Into the Samsung A640 Dictionary
- 1). Press MENU. Select MESSAGES->TEXT MESSAGE. Press the left soft key. A pop-up menu should appear containing four choices. Choose the first option (T9) by using the navigation keys.
- 2). Press a key corresponding to the first alphabet of the word you want to add to the dictionary. A list of words currently available in the dictionary should appear on the screen.
- 3). Press '0' key repeatedly. With every key press, you would be scrolling down the list of words. You need to do this until you reach the last word.
- 4). Press '0' once again. The display should show SPELL on the bottom line. Press the SPELL soft key. Press the ABC key to begin entering text. Your phone is now ready to accept the addition of a new word to the dictionary.
- 5). Enter the new word. Press OK.
