Untruths Continue in The Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks Arena
To lose 10 pounds in a week you need willpower, you really do.
But to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks, you need even more.
Let me explain.
More Time Sometimes Means More Failure...
Most folks out there in "I'm overweight land" would think that because you have more time it's easier to reach your goal of 10 pounds.
But that is a common misconception.
What it gives most people that haven't had their "lifestyle mind shift" yet, is more time for failure.
You see, a shorter weight loss goal is good.
Your target is more defined when the time frame is less.
This also gives you less time to really think too much.
Whenever a diet or weight loss goal is well defined but is a super quick weight loss objective, then everything must be laser focused and intense.
There is not time for the faint of heart when looking to lose 10 pounds in a week or even in 2 weeks.
Did My Own Research...
I have spent a majority of my life fighting and losing the diet and weight loss battle.
After literally speaking to hundreds of people in gyms and health clubs for over 20 years, a couple of things became crystal clear to me.
The Curtain was Pulled Back...
First, most calorie reduction programs or weight loss diets, are simply too broad in nature.
They give the weight loss layperson too much to think about overall, therefore setting them up for failure, usually after a very short period of time, sometimes days.
Why do you think most New Year's resolutions are abandoned by January 31st? If someone wants just to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks, they might be able to accomplish this type of short term, very focused goal, however most folks, especially women simply put on additional weight after they come off of these types of diets.
Your Brain is a Tricky Little Devil...
Weight loss is more psychological than anything else.
It literally took me 20 years to get it, but now I've got it...
no not more weight, but the concept.
I got rid of that 50 lbs of weight and have finally kept it off for a year and my wife 36lbs.
We live in a hurry up society.
An "I'm too busy" for exercise and weight loss mentality.
Give me the quick fix, the magical diet pill, the mystical weight loss plan that allows me to eat pizza anytime I want and lose all the fat along the way.
Therefore programs to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks flourish many times.
But none of those programs exist to keep the weight off long term.
And you have to make enough decisions throughout the normal course of your day to worry about such things, right? Must be Easy, Easy, Easy...
And there in lies the problem.
It has to be made easier and simpler.
Something that doesn't take so much out of a person to stick with.
Something that doesn't require "special diet food purchases" from "special diet food places".
Something that doesn't cost too much to implement into your life.
Something that doesn't require you to spend 2 hrs a day in the gym.
It does exist and it's closer than you think.
What if I told you that you needed no special diet food like Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers to accomplish your goals? What if I told you that you didn't need any special weight loss machines or cardio classes to lose your fat? What if I told you that you don't have to be hungry...
ever, to lose all the weight you want to? I know it sounds like a magical fairy tale, but it's not because it's how Julie and I did it...
