Mother"s Day Poems Needn"t Be Chore

No money for a mother's day gift- no problem all you need is a pen, some paper and some coloured pencils.
Now look, your mother has been looking after you, loving you, giving you guidance, offering solutions to all your problems since before you could open your mouth to cry for some more breast milk.
So the very least that you could do is show your appreciation by giving her a cheerful smile and a little poem to show your gratitude and do you know what, showing her a little gratitude will make her want to look after you until at least next mother's day.
Now, what to write in your poem? I'm sure that you're no wordsmith so go online and find a beautiful poem that you can simply copy out in your best handwriting onto a piece of hand made paper.
If there's no hand made paper around then just find a nice piece of card.
It doesn't have to be long- four lines will do; eight's better.
Now, look at the poem you're about to copy and map out how will look on the page and when you know where each line will go, just start.
Remember it's not a race; she will know if you've hurried it and if you take your time you may even enjoy doing this.
When you've finished your poem you'll need to decorate the poem.
The simplest way of doing this is to draw and colour in some flowers.
So it's the day that you've been preparing for and you have your mother's day poem all written out and decorated, and you're feeling very proud.
Why not make it extra special by going into the garden and picking a few flowers for her.
She'll love poetry, flowers and smiles from her child as she wakes.
It's the perfect way to start the day.
Go on, make her feel special this mother's day by writing a poem and delivering it in style.
