Why Eliminating Procrastination Is One Of The Most Important Wealth Secrets

Learning how to eliminate procrastination is one of the biggest wealth secrets you can ever learn. After all, you can never double your income if you never actually get around to doing it!

The first half of this most valuable of wealth secrets deal with the origin of all procrastination; the second, with what to do about it.

Procrastination's origins, or, where does procrastination come from?

Where does procrastination come from? Most people will tell you that it comes from being lazy, unmotivated, or having a brain condition that needs to be cured with some form of stimulant.

Fortunately, the origin of procrastination is really none of these things. Procrastination is what happens when you try to do things that you do not love!

This doesnt sound very good to the type of person who wants to call you lazy, unmotivated, brain damaged, or stupid (we'll deal with those people in a minute). But it's exactly what's at the root of your procrastination problem. Fortunately, fixing this problem is easier than you might think!

How you can get other people to help cure your procrastination problem.

The second half of this wealth secret involves leveraging the abilities and goodwill of others.

First, you need to make sure you have surrounded yourself with supportive people. Supportive people will understand that you want to focus solely on the things you love.

Keep in mind however that your children or significant other may be a little worried as to whether you can still "bring home the bacon" if you only spend your time on those tasks that you love. This is where other people really come into play in this wealth secret.

Delegation, outsourcing, and barter.

It is possible to focus on just the things that you love--but that doesn't mean you should ignore everything else. If you learn how to delegate, barter, and outsource, however, you'll increase your productivity by focusing only on the things that you love.

Delegating things you don't love to do doesn't have to cost you a great deal of money. If you own your own business or are in a position of authority, you may be able to legitimately and fairly delegate tasks to other people in the business, which will likely increase everybody's productivity.

You may find that you need to outsource to another person that you don't work with. Don't worry if this costs a little money--you're going to make that back in improved productivity doing the things you love. This may manifest with larger commissions, a raise, or more income for your own business.

If you are starting up a new business and can't afford to outsource, or do not otherwise want to pay for help, you can always use barter. You've bound to know a skill or have a service or product you can trade in exchange for someone doing tasks that you do not love.

It may seem simple, but it's still one of the most powerful wealth secrets around. Recognize what you don't love doing and then delegate. Then you can really focus on the tasks that will bring wealth into your life!
