Visit Turbo Tax and choose which edition you would like to use (see Resources). Depending on your income, filing status and other criteria, you may be able to use a free edition. - 2
Click on "create an account," read the user agreement and fill out the appropriate information. - 3). Fill out the information as you are asked for it. You will need to supply information on each individual in your house (SSN, birth dates, income, deductions, investments, business expenditures, etc.).

Choose how you would like to have your taxes filed. You can choose to e-file (over the Internet) or mail your taxes. - 5). Choose whether you would like your refund mailed to you via check or deposited into your bank account. If you owe money, you can pay by credit card or electronic check. You can also set up a payment schedule, if needed.
- 6). Review your taxes to make sure that everything is correct.
- 7). Accept your payment option and click "file." Turbo Tax will automatically deduct any money that you owe them from your refund or you can pay by credit card.
