Hotels & Resorts in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas is a resort town on the southern tip of Baja California, Mexico. Cruise ships make regular visits and it is not unusual to see one or more of these floating resorts at anchor in the shadow of the location's signature arched rock. Cabo has a reputation as a party town and the line up of resorts along Medano Beach with their varied bars and pubs underscores the reputation. Hotels located further up the hillside offer a quieter vacation option as well as eye-popping views.

Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Grand Spa

    • The Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Grand Spa sits on Medano Beach across from the arched rock that welcomes guests to the harbor of Cabo San Lucas. The pool area is attractive to both children and adults. The river pool winds around scattered mini islands, waterfalls and even past an impressive, full-size replica of a Spanish galleon. The ship is actually the setting for the Buccaneer Bar, serving light snacks and tropical drinks.

Playa El Medano (Dune Beach) offers safe swimming, beach volleyball or just a spot to work on a tan. Rent a kayak or canoe and paddle across the bay to the arched rock, or if you want something with a little more speed, hop on a Jet-ski or a Wave runner.

Accommodations consist of studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom suites, many with oceanfront balconies. Studios have kitchenettes and all other suites have full kitchens, including dishwashers. The top-of-the-line three bedroom suite, large enough for eight adults, offers four bathrooms, two with whirlpool tubs, along with a hot tub and barbecue on the large balcony. High speed Internet access is available in all room categories for a fee.

On site restaurants include the La Perla Restaurant Cabo offering "Baja Mediterranean fare," El Faro Restaurant Cabo offering oysters, sashimi and sushi and martinis. Room service is also available.
